Interested in your own bottled beer?
wooden hand brewery

The traditional cylindrical mash tuns made from metal and wood and are fed with the grist and mixed with hot liquor (that's brewers speak for water!).

This process is referred to as "mashing". From this a sweet liquid forms which is called wort and is separated from the used grains. The wort is then pumped into large cylindrical vessels called coppers, and hops are added before boiling to add bitterness and aroma to the beer. Each different beer has its own special recipe of ingredients. The wort is boiled until the full taste of the hops has been achieved.

wooden hand brewery

Wooden Hand Brewery has a bottling line enabling these cask ales to be enjoyed in perfect condition for up to 6 months after brewing. This is possible due to our extensive filtration and pasteurisation processes.

With the installation of a new bottling line we can produce up to 2,000 bottles an hour. Bottles are placed in trays and shrink wrapped or carton cased to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
